In order to develop a Neighbourhood Plan, funding is needed. It is vital that funding is secured to fund the printing, distribution, collection of a survey that will collate the views of the residents of the parish in order that we can develop policies that meet the needs and desires of the community. Other activities, including advertising the GPNP, events to promote and raise awareness about the GPNP, obtaining specialist expert help for the drafting of policies and other activities need to be funded.
Government grants do exist to support the development of Neighbourhood Plans, but they are limited to specific amounts and may not be sufficient to cover all of the costs that may be incurred. A funding group will be needed to raise and manage funds under the guidance of the treasurer for the Neighbourhood Plan.
If you are interested in taking part in the drafting of the Godstone Parish Neighbourhood Plan and have an interest or skill in funding, we would be delighted to hear from you via the contact page or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
